The Gables all things garden            

Hello gardening friends, welcome to The Gables, Garden, Art & Gifts website.  I have spent many hours in my garden, digging,  planting, thinking and planning what to plant next and have decided to share some of my ideas and gardening adventures with you. Luckily I have a good imagination as I stand with glass of wine in hand, watering my 10 cm high Plantation Pink Camellia Sasanqua hedge,  I can see it fully grown and abundant flowers along its 30 metre row.  While I am standing watering I am also planning my next move, what new garden bed will I design and where is that row of hornbeams going to be planted?  I will post some pictures for you and hopefully inspire you with photos of my garden and gardens of those that I have had the priviledge of visiting. I will share information that may be helpful to you from my experience. I was lucky to have  guidance from my mother who in my opinion has so much knowledge. She taught me to create vistas in the garden for all seasons, I am still working on that.
